Now: Digital Environments
Currently I am an interaction designer for a predictive analytics and software company in Chicago. Our products help companies monitor assets and analyze data — from wind turbines to locomotives to industrial machinery — and make smarter, safer, evidence-based decisions. I've also led user experience and design strategy at an applied AI and data science start-up.
Then: Built Environments
I spent six years in the graphics studio at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago leading the design of identity systems and other visual communications to illustrate the relationships between people, cities, infrastructure, and the environment. My work helped win international architecture and urban planning competitions from Beijing to Sydney.
I hold a Masters of Graphic Design from North Carolina State University and a BFA in Graphic Design from Iowa State University.
